This is like a cheese bread made with cassava powder which is a popular plate in Latin America.
At this time n the class we have also spoken a lot of Spanish to cook this plate.
Everyone helped a lot to prepare the bread and also each one made his bread with different shapes.
Although we do not understand everything we can understand some words through enjoying cooking and eating Latin American dishes. What we always achieve is to enjoy the class and the guys are always very good to enjoy all the activities.
Little by little we get used to these languages, and in the next class we will have a game and we can practice the words we learned today. See you soon in the next class.
We have the class after the summer holidays and we will enjoy the world again using Spanish and English.
It is very popular taketonbo made in bamboo, but this time we did it with paper.
Everyone thinking how to make the design so that the taketombo fly well.
They made their taketombo of different sizes and colors. And we throw them at the same time !! They flew well and we also learned that we can improve on the design for the next time. It was fun playing outside throwing the teketombo.
Lately we play ONE learning the numbers and colors in Spanish.
Today we are very excited because we can cook and eat a traditional food from El Salvador! The dish called Pupusas!
At the beginning we have seen by video to know the Pupusas.
And then we started cooking with everyone's help.
Everyone helped a lot to cook between all of us and we managed to cook 2 times.
It seems that everyone liked it a like it a lot.

Ingredients:
Tortilla: Corn flour with water
Cheese: Mozzarella cheese
Pork meat: Fry pork with onion, green pepper and little tomato
Pickles: cabbage, carrot, onion, oregano, vinegar and water
Tomato sauce: Tomato, green pepper, onion and salt
Make tortillas and put cheese, meat or both. Then fry it in the frying pan and eat it with the pickles and the tomato sauce!
Today we have learned a lot and have fun with games and questions about Ecuador.
Ecuador is a country far from Japan but there are many interesting things. We prepare the numbers to answer the questions. We have known Ecuador has the Galapagos Islands and different animals. The giant tortoise is 150cm tall and weighs about 250kg! How big and heavy!
And the time difference between Japan and Ecuador is 14 hours !!
We also learned many more things about Ecuador that I can not write them all but it was very interesting
We also play card game UNO using Spanish to tell the numbers and colors.
At the beginning of the class we have promised that if all the questions are correct the following week we will cook something delicious! And they did it!
So next week we will have a fun and delicious activity!
Today we enjoy playing football at the Hayama park. The whole class was in English and Spanish, but in different ways we can understand and learn some new words.
It was very good exercise and the "mugicha" we drank was excellent. All collaborated to serve drinks to friends and teachers!
