Hello Everyone!!
Today we had another visiting student, and we all had a great time together at the farm!
This month we have had lots of rain and warm weather, so that means lots of weeds!!! Picking weeds is part of our job but we also need to keep an eye on our own veggies. They grow so quickly, that often they fall down and need support to climb up towards the sun!!!
First we helped the Goy a climb up their net by stimulating their vines to grow onto each net line.
Then we staked the pepper plants so that they won't fall down due to wind.
Finally, to prevent crows from eating our corn, we put up lines to scare them from flying into the farm area.
See you again next week! I hope we can eat some corn soon!!!
Regards,
Michael Keida
